MANAGEMENT

Mike Marshall - President and General Manager

Mike took over as team president of the Chico Outlaws in March of 2010. Since retiring as a player from the major leagues, Mike has served as the VP of Baseball Operations for the Northern League and President of the Yuma Scorpions.

Mike has been married to his wife Mary for 24 years. They have 2 kids currently in College.

Mary Marshall - Assistant General Manager

Mary attended the University of Southern California and studied Communications. It was then that she met her husband Mike Marshall (Outlaws Team President and Manager) while interning with the Los Angeles Dodgers. She has vast experience working in professional sports. She was part of the League Staff in the Arizona Winter League and she also worked Media Relations for the league office in the Northern League.

Megan Holsinger - Office Manager

Megan is currently enrolled at California State University, Chico, working towards a Bachelor of the Arts degree in Communication Design with an option in Mass Communication. Megan began with the Outlaws working in the ticket booth before being promoted to Office Manager. Megan would love to someday work in public relations for Pixar or Dreamworks. Megan enjoys watching sports, movies and loves her dog Zorro.

Bryan Feathers - Director of Media Relations

Bryan is currently a senior at Chico State University working towards his Bachelor's Degree. Bryan returns to the Outlaws from last season where he worked his way up from an intern and the team's offical scorer to his current position with the team. Looking forward, Bryan would love to someday work in the front office of a major sports franchise in either the MLB, NBA, or NFL, or embark on a career writing about sports for ESPN. In his spare time, Bryan enjoys rooting on his favorite sports teams, the Dallas Mavericks and the Greenbay Packers.

Jason Matlock - Director of Sales

Jason Graduated from Merritt College in 1994, earning a Bachelors degree in Paralegal Studies. Jason first found his niche in sales when he worked for the Giants AAA affiliate in 1995. Jason also worked as a paralegal before realizing that his passion was in sales. He enjoys working with people and loves the various challenges involved with sales. Jason is the only remaining employee from when the Golden Baseball League was created in 2005.

Marge Williams - Office Assistant

 

Marge graduated from California State University, San Francisco, where she earned her Bachelors of Arts degree in Sociology. Marge has tons of experience as a receptionist, ranging from work in banking all the way to working in homeless shelters. Marge is the Vice President of the Outlaws booster club and was a booster member back when the Outlaws were the Chico Heat.

Marshall Kelner - Broadcaster

 

Marshall Kelner is a graduate of USC in Los Angeles, CA with a major in Communication. While at USC, Kelner served as Assistant Sports Director at the campus radio station (KXSC) and called numerous USC baseball, football, and basketball games. Highlights included calling O.J. Mayo's only NCAA Tournament game against Michael Beasley, Ricky Oropesa's 5 hit performance in his freshman year, and going back home to broadcast the USC-Minnesota football game this past season. Originally from Minnetonka, MN, Marshall has always dreamed of being a professional baseball broadcaster, spending his nights growing up listening to Minnesota Twins games on the radio. Marshall looks forward to bringing lots of joy and enthusiasm to the people of Chico in his broadcasts and being a part of a great organization.

Joey Resnikoff-Media Relations Intern

 

Joey currently attends California State University, Chico, studying Business-Marketing. He plans on graduating in the Spring of 2012. His dream is to work for a professional sports team.

Hannah O'leary - Marketing Intern

 

Hannah was awarded a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Business Administration with an option in Marketing at California State University, Chico in May of 2011. Hannah will now continue her education at Chico State to earn a minor in Recreation. In addition, Hannah is an active member in the Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority in Chico, where she was the Alumni Relations Coordinator and the Vice President of Recruiting. Prior to coming to the Outlaws, Hannah was honored as the “Leader of the Month,” while working with CARD, which is the Chico Area Recreation and Park District. With high aspirations, Hannah dreams to one day work in marketing with the San Francisco Giants.

Andy Wright - Sales Associate

 

Andy is currently attending California State University, Chico, working towards earning a Bachelors of Arts degree in Business Administration with an option in Marketing. After earning his degree, Andy will pursue a career in sales in the Medical Device Industry. Andy enjoys the human interaction aspect of sales, as well as the many challenges involved in working in the sales industry. Andy is an avid golfer, and enjoys spending his spare time on the golf course.

Brittney Baker - Intern to Assistant General Manager

 

Brittney Graduated in only four years from California State University Chico in May of 2011. She received her Bachelors of the Arts degree in Recreation Administration with an emphasis in Event Management with a minor in Marketing. She also received a scholarship to play softball at Chico State. 

Jill Ronchelli - Sales Intern

 

Jill is a student at California State University, Chico, working towards earning a Bachelors of Arts degree in Business Administration. She plans to graduate in the spring of 2012 and pursue a career in sales. Jill’s passion for sales stems from her enjoyment of building strong relationships in a professional and social environment. Jill is an avid reader and enjoys spending much of her time sitting down with a good book.

Kayla Bruni - On Field Promotions

 

Kayla is currently a student at California State University, Chico, studying Recreation Administration with an option in Special Event Planning. She plans on receiving her Bachelors of Arts degree in May of 2012. Being a huge fan, Kayla dreams to one-day work event planning for the San Francisco Giants. Kayla is a highly organized professional that has a great passion for event planning. In her down time, she enjoys sitting down for a good book and going shopping.
